Who we are
This policy explains what personal data Samatva Tech India Private Limited (“SAMTECH”, “Samatva”, “we”, “us”) collects through samatvatechindia.com, why, and what you can do about it.
Samatva is a software development company registered in India, with its office at A-140, Unispace Business Park, Office 104, Sector 63, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201301, India. We build custom software and run our own products, ClassPLX and UniPLX, for clients in India, the US, Canada and Australia.
SAMTECH is the short form of Samatva Tech India Private Limited; both names refer to the same company throughout this policy.
This policy covers our website, our enquiry and contact channels, and job applications. It is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the DPDP Rules, 2025, and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.

What we collect
We collect only what you give us and a small amount of technical data from your browser.

We do not ask for sensitive data such as financial account numbers, government IDs or health information through this website. Please don’t send it in a form or message.
How we use your data
We use your data to respond to you, deliver what you asked for, and keep the website working.

- Send updates or marketing messages, only if you opted in; you can unsubscribe any time
- Secure the site, prevent spam and abuse, and fix errors

Legal basis. We process your data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you submit a form or contact us, or for a legitimate use allowed under Section 7 of the DPDP Act, such as a purpose you voluntarily provided the data for or complying with law.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it for automated decisions that affect you.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only where needed to serve you, and only with parties bound to protect it.
- Service providers who run the website for us: Amazon Web Services (AWS), which hosts the site and stores its data, and Google Analytics, which measures how the site is used. They act only on our instructions.
- Professional advisers such as lawyers, auditors and accountants, under confidentiality.
- Authorities when required by law, court order or a valid government request.
- A buyer or successor if Samatva is merged, acquired or restructured, under this same policy.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies to make the site work and, with your consent, to measure how it is used.

Retention, security and transfers
How long we keep it. We keep data only as long as the purpose needs it, then delete or anonymise it.

Security. We use reasonable safeguards: HTTPS encryption, access limited to staff who need it, password-protected systems, and regular backups. No system is fully secure. If a breach affects your data, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
Transfers outside India. Some of our service providers store data outside India, and we work with clients in the US, Canada and Australia. When data leaves India, we transfer it only to countries not restricted by the Government of India and only to providers bound to protect it.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it
- Correct, complete or update it
- Delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it
- Withdraw your consent; this stops future processing but doesn’t undo what was done before
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to
- Stop marketing messages, by using the unsubscribe link or replying “STOP” on WhatsApp
Email info@samatvatechindia.com with your request. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We will respond within 15 days, and in any case within the time the law sets.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Visitors outside India. If you are in the US, Canada or Australia, your local privacy law may give you similar or additional rights. Contact us and we will honour them where they apply.
Children. This website is meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Data inside our products and client projects
This policy covers the website only. Data inside ClassPLX, UniPLX or software we build for clients belongs to the client organisation.
When a school, college or business uses our products or software, it decides what data goes in and why. Samatva processes that data only on its instructions, under the contract and data processing terms we sign with it. If you are a student, parent, staff member or customer of one of our clients, contact that organisation first about your data; we will support them in responding to you.
